Hi, I’m very new to WordPress and was wondering how I can learn this? Is there a course you guys offer or 1 on 1 sessions or something?

    Thanks.

@Darren – Thanks for your interest; sorry for the delay in responding. WordCamp is all about the community helping each other with learning and expanding upon their knowledge of WordPress. This would be a great opportunity for you to meet and get to know others in the community and possibly find someone that offers courses and/or one-on-one sessions.

    Hey guys,
I presented at WordCamp 2012 in Toronto.
I have an exciting new idea for a presentation this year and would like to know when speaker submissions will go up.
Also, if my company wanted to sponsor the event, can I still present?

    Thanks
    Jordan

@Jordan – It’s great to see you presented last year and are interested in presenting again for WordCamp Toronto 2013. Sorry for the delay in responding to your comment, we have all been busy behind the scenes preparing for amongst many things, speaker submissions. You may find the process to be a bit different this year but please stay tuned for the soon to be released Speaker Guidelines and Speaker Topic Submission form. We look forward to see your ideas … and yes, if your company wants to sponsor the event you are still more than welcome to also submit a speaker presentation topic.

Hi Jordan, speaker/schedule details will be going up soon. And yes, sponsors are absolutely able to present at WordCamp. 🙂

I’ve had a great time at all the WordCamps in Toronto that I’ve presented at. I’m hoping I get to make the trip north again this year. Good luck in your planning!
