What is WordCamp Toronto?

WordCamp Toronto (WCTO) is an annual conference dedicated to WordPress, the world’s most popular content management system (CMS). Websites around the globe are powered by WordPress, and WordPress itself is built and maintained by a dedicated community of international volunteers.

WordCamp Toronto 2013 is bringing together WordPress groups from the cities of Toronto, Mississauga, and beyond. 400 WordPress enthusiasts, and over 30 sessions — including workshops, panels, and more — will make this a Weekend of WordPress like Toronto has never seen before.

Who should attend? Anyone with an interest in WordPress.

Are you new to WordPress? A seasoned pro? It doesn’t matter! WordCamp Toronto is the place to be for anyone interested in learning more about WordPress. We do our best to facilitate everyone, regardless of their experience level. If you leave knowing more than you did coming in, then we’ve done our job!

Where? Humber College’s Lakeshore Campus.

We’ve hooked up with the Humber College School of Media Studies & Information Technology to make WordCamp Toronto bigger and better than ever. #WCTO2013 will be taking place at Humber College’s Lakeshore Campus in the brand-new L-Building facility.

When? Saturday, October 5th – Sunday, October 6th 2013.

As luck would have it, WordCamp Toronto is syncing up with Nuit Blanche for the second year in a row. (Call it fate!) Maybe we’ll work out something special to take advantage of the serendipitous timing?

How much does it cost? $30 for the full weekend.

We have a flat-rate price of $30. This covers your registration, food and refreshments (details TBA). Tickets will go on sale closer to the event date.
