There are plenty of web apps that tackle this problem &#8211; but wouldn\u2019t it be great if we could just stick with WordPress, instead of tying ourselves to yet another monthly subscription service? In this workshop we\u2019ll be creating a WordPress-powered alternative using P2 and freely available plugins. There is a minimal amount of coding in this workshop. If you\u2019re comfortable editing wp-config to install WordPress, you\u2019re good!<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>A local installation of WordPress is not required, but is strongly recommended.<\/strong> If you have a laptop but have never set up a local development environment, or are unsure whether you meet the prerequisites, come an hour earlier and attend the \u201cSetting Up a Local Development Environment\u201d workshop where experts will help you get what you need.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Communication and collaboration is at the core of every successful team project.
