We’re happy to announce that ticket sales are now open for WordCamp Toronto 2014, November 15-16!<\/strong> The price hasn’t changed from previous years. We’re still at $30 for the whole weekend, including food and refreshments.<\/p>\n

Speakers & Schedule:\u00a0<\/strong>Last Friday’s organizer meeting was focused on our schedule. We received over 80 speaker submissions this year – the most we’ve ever had – so there are a lot of tough decisions to be made.<\/p>\n

If you submitted to speak, expect to hear from us in the next couple of weeks. Submissions are still being accepted,<\/a> but be warned: slots are getting\u00a0filled quickly!<\/p>\n

AndroidTO on October 30th:<\/strong>\u00a0Android, like WordPress, is open source software; and, like WordPress, there’s an enthusiastic community of Android developers in Toronto. AndroidTO is a day-long conference dedicated to all things Android. Early bird tickets are $99, and jump up to $125 after September 12th.<\/a><\/p>\n

Hamilton’s Inaugural WordPress Meetup:<\/strong> This Thursday, September 11th marks the kick-off of Hamilton’s new WordPress meetup group<\/a>. Our neighbours to the west have long been passionate about WordPress, so we’re excited to see them finally get a local meetup group of their own.
