Back To Square One: Building A WordPress Starter Development Kit<\/a> in the Agency <\/a>track.<\/p>\n I am a designer and developer who has an insatiable desire to build things worth putting my name on. Currently, I am an active member of a number of remote development teams, including Modern Tribe where I am learning how to help teams become helpful, happy, curious and accountable.<\/p>\n Our team set out to create a WordPress starter development kit in order to speed up development and help keep uniformity among projects. So, how did we build it? Why didn\u2019t we use \u201c________\u201d framework instead? What does the code look like? Is our universe real? What is true happiness? This session will attempt to answer at least 60% of these questions.<\/p>\n How to work as a team to think ahead and give yourself a headstart on WordPress development projects.<\/p>\n My topic is something that I would love to learn about from someone else, so I wanted to share my own experience.<\/p>\n Open source + plugins! As a newbie developer, the plugin repository was like a candy store that gave out free candy. If there was functionality I didn’t know how to build, I could almost always find a plugin that did the job AND be able to look under the hood and try to understand what was going on.<\/p>\n Admin Bar Toggle<\/a> – it’s an extremely simple plugin that allows you to toggle the admin bar on\/off on the front end.
