You probably (hopefully?) have a domain name for your blog or website, but do you know how the domain name system (DNS) actually works to connect the two?
Learning Outcomes
Learn the basics of DNS records including name servers, DNS records like a-records, CNAMEs, MX records and more. By the end of this session, you’ll have enough DNS knowledge to understand how visitors to your domain end up seeing your website. You’ll also learn why having your own domain name matters, and how the sometimes confusing domain registration system works from registries, to registrars, to you – the registrant!
