He lives and works in Southern Ontario, Canada, serving both a local and an international client base.<\/p>\n<p>He discovered WordPress in 2006 when asked to explore the use of collaborative tools internally for a multinational corporation, setting up a 200+ multi-blog site using WPMU on IIS7. As part of this project, he created his first plugin, <a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/plugins\/author-avatars\/\" target=\"_blank\">Author Avatars<\/a>, which now has 10,000+ active installs.<\/p>\n<p>From this point on, the community, the flexibility and the velocity of WordPress has made it the platform of choice for Paul\u2019s work.<\/p>\n<p>Paul specializes in creating highly performant scalable, accessible and SEO friendly code (plugins and themes) for large WordPress sites that are often multi-site, multi-language, VIP and\/or e-commerce.<\/p>\n<p>He has made core commits in 3.9, 4.0, 4.2, 4.4, 4.5 and 4.6 and leads the virtual bi-weekly meetup, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.meetup.com\/WPToronto\/events\/232312397\/\" target=\"_blank\">Contrib2Core<\/a>.
