Nearly ten years ago I started using WordPress as a CMS for my canoe building business.
I also started using video and published on Youtube, then shared the videos through my site and socially.
After a couple years I became one of the leading publishers in the canoe culture and was getting around 10,000 views per month.
I decided to put more effort into film and produced a short film “Canoe: Icon of the North” and interviewed some of Canada’s leaders in the canoe world (builders, instructors, Olympic Athletes, etc).
My views continued to increase and I now receive between 20-30,000 views per month.
Over the years my skills and knowledge of both WordPress and video have developed greatly. Now, I work full-time as a content creator and publisher.
I owe a lot of my success to WordPress.
