Welcome to WordCamp Toronto 2018!
This year’s WordCamp Toronto takes place on Saturday, December 1st at the North York Civic Centre.
Follow along on social media with the hashtag #WCYYZ.
What’s a WordCamp?
WordCamps are local, community-run events dedicated to the WordPress open source software. (Fun fact: WordPress now powers over 30% of websites worldwide!)
These events are a great opportunity to learn more about WordPress and meet other WordPress users. Attendees range from absolute beginners to longtime experts.
Hundreds of WordCamps take place each year around the world, all organized and staffed by a team of passionate volunteers.
Get involved: volunteer, speak, or sponsor
Since 2011, WordCamp Toronto has been organized by members of our local WordPress meetup group.
If you’d like to get involved with #WCYYZ this year, check out our Volunteers page. We’re looking for people to help before, during, and after the event.
WordCamp sessions are also led by volunteers. Our speakers are all WordPress users who want to share their knowledge and experience. If you’re in the GTA and interested in speaking, please get in touch!
The schedule comes together after speakers are confirmed. You can view session details for WordCamp Toronto 2018 on our Schedule page. We’ll update it as information becomes available.
All of this is made possible thanks to the generous support of local and global sponsors. Learn more about our sponsors (and how to become a sponsor) on our Sponsors page.
Inclusivity & accessibility
Our events are safe spaces designed to be as inclusive and accessible as possible, with a defined Code of Conduct and a low ticket price (free).
We also abide by the City of Toronto’s Human Rights and Anti-Harassment Policy.
