Why did you choose your topic?
I’ve been doing SEO since 1997. While things were relatively stable for a while there, a lot has happened recently and so I’d like to provide an update. I run brands like Uniseo which is a full service web design, SEO, and Internet marketing services provider and training centre, the WordPress support and maintenance service WP Phone Support, and Montreal-based RedstoneX Web Design, and we get a lot of questions about the industry, so I am going to share some of the big ones.
What do you want people to learn from your session?
I want them to get an idea of the latest trends in Google rankings. It’s mostly a discussion of how to think about and integrate the changes into an overall SEO plan.
Why did you decide to speak?
I like to give back to the community.
What brought you to WordPress in the first place?
I started using it in 2005 while searching for a CMS.
What are you most looking forward to at WordCamp Toronto?
Seeing everyone!
What’s your advice to other WordCamp Toronto attendees?
You get the most out of WordCamps when you attend talks, but especially when you socialize!
