{"id":1161,"date":"2018-11-16T16:41:07","date_gmt":"2018-11-16T21:41:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/2018.toronto.wordcamp.org\/?p=1161"},"modified":"2018-11-16T16:42:26","modified_gmt":"2018-11-16T21:42:26","slug":"wordcamp-toronto-free-registration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/toronto.wordcamp.org\/2018\/wordcamp-toronto-free-registration\/","title":{"rendered":"WordCamp Toronto is now free to attend!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/2018.toronto.wordcamp.org\/tickets\/\"><strong>Reserve your free ticket<\/strong><\/a><strong> <\/strong>for WordCamp Toronto 2018 on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at the North York Civic Centre.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>WPToronto, as a not-for-profit community group within the <a href=\"https:\/\/make.wordpress.org\/community\/meetups\/\">WordPress meetup chapter program<\/a>, has reserved space for WordCamp in the City of Toronto civic centres at no cost to the group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> Our agreement with the City of Toronto states we are unable to charge for attendance to our events. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Current ticket holders will be reimbursed, and the first 350 people who <strong>register and attend <\/strong>are guaranteed to get in. Come early when the doors open for registration at 9 A.M. on Saturday!<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>WPToronto is grateful for the ongoing support from the City of Toronto, and for providing the free space to our community. It makes our many meetups, and this WordCamp, affordable and accessible to all.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Anyone who hasn&#8217;t registered yet should reserve their free <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/2018.toronto.wordcamp.org\/tickets\/\"><strong>ticket now before we run out of space<\/strong><\/a><strong>! (Did I mention they&#8217;re free!?)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Luckily many <a href=\"https:\/\/2018.toronto.wordcamp.org\/sponsors\/current-sponsors\/\">sponsors<\/a> and WordPress Toronto Supporters have stepped in to make sure we get some cool snacks and swag, plus the rockin&#8217; after party. So we can guarantee you a good time in and out of the educational sessions.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the spirit of WordPress and the GPL, we want to make this open to everyone.
