Why did you choose your topic?<\/strong><\/p>\nI wanted to talk about ways to improve user experience with automation because it\u2019s something our team supports for clients on a daily basis. Our company, Uncanny Owl, also released an automation plugin a few months ago.<\/p>\n

What do you want people to learn from your session?<\/strong><\/p>\nAttendees will learn about the value automation can add both to the admin and user experience, and just how easy it can be to incorporate simple automation workflows on a WordPress site.<\/p>\n
Why did you decide to speak?<\/strong><\/p>\nI\u2019m speaking primarily to promote knowledge sharing and to raise awareness of what\u2019s possible with automation. It\u2019s also a way for us to connect with the local WordPress community, which we don\u2019t do often enough.<\/p>\n
What brought you to WordPress in the first place?<\/strong><\/p>\nMy partner and I started with WordPress in 2013 as a way to showcase our eLearning work. Within a few years we stopped instructional design work and built out a team to focus exclusively on making eLearning better and easier with WordPress.<\/p>\n
What are you most looking forward to at WordCamp Toronto?<\/strong><\/p>\nI\u2019m looking forward to connecting with the local WordPress community and sharing some of what we\u2019ve learned as a plugin vendor and developer of WordPress sites.<\/p>\n
