{"id":12567864,"name":"Alex Sirota","url":"http:\/\/newpathconsulting.com","description":"I have a traditional computer science background and I grew up in the Detroit suburbs. I graduated from the University of Michigan, and after working for Apple Computer, Inc. in the mid 90s out of school I was recruited to come work for a small software development company called EveryWare Development. We made a piece of software called Tango that connected the web to relational databases. There I worked on an analytics product called Bolero, a precursor to Google Analytics. I also was product manager at an email marketing company called FloNetwork, that was a precursor to email marketing companies like MailChimp. After burning out in the startup life,  I worked for the Ontario Government as team lead for over a decade and in 2014 started my own consulting business called NewPath Consulting.\r\n\r\nI am married with 2 children, a son and a daughter. For fun I play the trumpet in a band called Tuesday Horns in Toronto.","link":"https:\/\/toronto.wordcamp.org\/2018\/author\/asirota\/","slug":"asirota","avatar_urls":{"24":"https:\/\/secure.gravatar.com\/avatar\/e72fc188fab919764f6350b64bcdb4393b1a7a9b8b88129fa59f57967b841a90?s=24&r=g","48":"https:\/\/secure.gravatar.com\/avatar\/e72fc188fab919764f6350b64bcdb4393b1a7a9b8b88129fa59f57967b841a90?s=48&r=g","96":"https:\/\/secure.gravatar.com\/avatar\/e72fc188fab919764f6350b64bcdb4393b1a7a9b8b88129fa59f57967b841a90?s=96&r=g","128":"https:\/\/secure.gravatar.com\/avatar\/e72fc188fab919764f6350b64bcdb4393b1a7a9b8b88129fa59f57967b841a90?s=128&r=g","256":"https:\/\/secure.gravatar.com\/avatar\/e72fc188fab919764f6350b64bcdb4393b1a7a9b8b88129fa59f57967b841a90?s=256&r=g","512":"https:\/\/secure.gravatar.com\/avatar\/e72fc188fab919764f6350b64bcdb4393b1a7a9b8b88129fa59f57967b841a90?s=512&r=g"},"meta":{"jetpack_donation_warning_dismissed":false},"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/toronto.wordcamp.org\/2018\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/12567864","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/toronto.wordcamp.org\/2018\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users"}]}}
