Downtown Afterparty & Nuit Blanche
Scotiabank Nuit Blanche is taking place on October 3-4, the same weekend as WordCamp Toronto. And this year our afterparty, held at the Duke of Devon (near Union Station in downtown Toronto), is right in the heart of it.
So, if you want to be a hardcore WordCamper and pull an all-nighter, have fun. We won’t blame you. There’s a lot of cool stuff to see.
Location & Time Details
WordCamp Toronto Afterparty
Saturday, October 3rd @ 8:00pm
Duke of Devon
Toronto-Dominion Centre
66 Wellington St W
Toronto, ON M5K 1H1
What’s the best way to get to the afterparty/downtown?
Driving/carpooling, calling a cab, or using Uber is the fastest route.
If you’re comfortable with transit, the 501 Queen Eastbound streetcar will get you close (Queen Street & Bay Street, then walk south), albeit the ride is long with many stops.
You can also head to Kipling Station, take the subway eastbound to Bloor-Yonge, and then head south on Line 1 (Yonge/University/Spadina) to Union Station.
Lastly, you can take GO Transit‘s Lakeshore West train from Longbranch Station or Mimico Station to Union Station.
Featured Speaker: tracy apps
“Hi, my name is tracy (or some people call me tapps). I’m a graphic designer, front-end developer, photographer, drummer, crossfitter and a lifelong Milwaukean.
I started creating for the web in 1996, and started developing with WordPress before it was WordPress (my first blog was created with b2). I have been working independently for my own company, tracy apps design, for over 6 years now and I just love solving client puzzles of all sizes.
I’ve been doing custom WordPress sites for over 10 years and it has become my number one go-to tool for my client work. I’m a big fan of breaking things to see what cool things can come out of that. I also could probably deadlift you.” Continue reading
